[Identified] Edgio Engineers have identified an issue which may impact performance on cache-fill and non-cacheable requests in the India and South East Asia region. This is related to a sub-sea fiber cut in the Singapore area, reducing Edgio's PoP to PoP connectivity. As a result of this fiber cut, end users may experience a degradation in performance on requests not delivered from edge cache. Edgio have engaged our vendors and are working on mitigation steps to limit any potential impact from this issue.

[Identified] Edgio Engineers have taken a number of steps to mitigate the impact from this sub-sea fiber cut and believe end-users should see an improvement in performance on requests not delivered from edge cache. Engineers will continue to closely monitor performance in this region and take appropriate steps to mitigate any issue whilst the underlying cable fault is resolved.

During this maintenance, the Edgio team will be conducting maintenance on our Los Angeles VNY storage. The maintenance will run for a duration of 2 hours starting on Monday June 24th, 2024 at 08 pm pacific. It is set to end on Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 10 pm pacific. The impact to our storage clients will be as follows: - EOS will be inaccessible sporadically during this maintenance. - Ability to connect to storage via SFTP/RSYNC will be unavailable - Delivery of non-cached objects will experience degraded performance. Any cached content will not be impacted during this maintenance. This maintenance is being conducted to help improve the stability and reliability of our storage service.
